Forestry Minister on reforms to forestry after Cyclone Hale

The Environmental Defence Society is calling for a commission of inquiry into forestry practices after Cyclone Hale. Multiple rivers and streams in Tairawhiti were overwhelmed by forestry waste product, known as slash, which were swept down by the rain and caused further flooding. Charlotte Cook spoke to Forestry Minister, Stuart Nash and asked him about the future of forestry.
