Have you ever experienced a season of darkness? If so, you are not alone. Many of us go through seasons when life feels difficult, and we wonder if our best days are behind us. That was the situation the Israelites faced in the days of the prophet Jeremiah. Suffering the consequences of failures by their leaders, everything looks bad for them. Yet, as the prophet Jeremiah reminded them, no matter how hard the circumstances, God is faithful to his promises.
