In 1992, when I asked John O'Neill what he wanted for his birthday, he said he'd like a swishy afternoon dance party - with lots of male vocals and an eighties rock edge. So despite the fact that 217 W. Springfield Street was officially "closed", we opened the doors for a Sunday afternoon of dancing in John's honor.
