Forget and Forgive

2008-2009 one-take improvised recordings. Used a slide for most of it. Overdubbed an electric drum kit and spoken vocals from the Buddhist text "A Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life" on track 8.

I made this while living at Bristol Square Apartments in Newton. Pretty frustrating trying to record with people on the other side of every wall, floor, and ceiling. I was pretty self-conscious about my singing at this point and would have really preferred some privacy to work out my voice with. I don't think my neighbors enjoyed it much either.
