Living as a Christian is a joyous life. And this is not because we are always succeeding but because God is maintaining his relationship or covenant with us. Our living under him as our Father involves us knowing that we are sinners, acknowledging this-in general and in particular-and receiving his continuing forgiveness. Jesus has taught us to pray this way. And he has taught us to live this way in our relationships with others.
