As we consider the better promises upon which the kingdom of Messiah and the ministry of His role as Prophet and Priest for His people, we must consider the reality of separation that is the birthright of all the descent of Adam. For Adam left the home and the relationship with God which he had been given for the empty promise of the deceiver's hints and insinuations… our progenitor forsook his own Father for the sake of illicit gain and supposed freedom. When the mask came off, that freedom was actually a slavery beyond any that could be imagined as well as a bondage to hatred and a separation from the very life he longed for… this is the only inheritance we gain from Adam… but in Christ, our separation has been healed, our sins forgiven and our relationship with our Father not only restored, but made more than it could ever have been otherwise.
