Sometimes we experience difficult and dark circumstances.  None is more impactful than being violated as a child.  Having your innocence ripped away by someone close, someone you love, someone you trust - ultimately crushes your self-esteem.  Jennifer found strength in God to face her hurtful past and overcome the torment that kept her bound for many years.  She looked great on the outside.  But on the inside, she felt broken as she wrestled with the shame of childhood molestation well into adulthood.  She was a professional educator... still wrestling.  She was a believer in Christ... still wrestling. She served as a leader in the church... still wrestling. She was married with adult children... still wrestling.  Once Jennifer truly pulled back the covers and pursued authentic release, she was able to embrace forgiveness and take the forgiveness journey to being free indeed.
