In this episode, Shaka shares how journaling transformed his life, how books saved him when he was in solitary confinement, and how a letter from his victim's mom was a blessing in his life. We discuss what it means to release our ego, be a good man, heal family dysfunction, and the difficulty in parenting. Listen to this episode now for an important conversation about the American prison system and the biases we have toward the people who harm us.
