Very often the problem we face when it comes to living our lives the way we know we ought is not that we lack the knowledge of what is good and right and true, what we ought to do or not do. Rather we lack the will to follow our convictions. St. Paul once wrote, in his letter to the Romans, “I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.” Sometimes, however, itʼs also a problem of a poorly formed conscience.
