We weren't created to do life alone.

In Acts 2:42-47, the early church devoted themselves to four things: teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer. Notice what came right after their radical encounter with Jesus? COMMUNITY. Not isolation. Not individualism. Fellowship.

The Greek word "koinonia" means sharing life in common—spiritual unity with the Lord AND with each other. We are formed in community, not in isolation. God said from the beginning, "It is not good for man to be alone" (Genesis 2:18).

What lie has convinced you that isolation is safer than community? That you can be formed alone? This week, take a brave step: join a Purpose Group, invite a friend to coffee, share what God is teaching you. We are mutually dependent on each other—one body in Christ.
