The Tim DeMoss Show Podcast

Former Eagle Garry “G” Cobb and WFIL’s Ann Krill

Listen Later

The Famous Friday Show had a wide variety of elements to enjoy, starting with former Eagle & longtime broadcaster Garry “G” Cobb checking in from Atlanta, the site of this weekend’s Super Bowl. Cobb shares his expertise on the Patriots & Rams, how his faith in the Lord comes into play with regard to priorities (and in the life coaching he is engaged in with former and current players), and favorite grub for the game too. Speaking of the Super Bowl, Ann Krill from WFIL’s marketing & promotions department gives a run-down on contests & prize opportunities including the Big Game Contest where you could win $50,000! Ann gives info on WFIL’s new Ministry of the Month (A New Beginning with Pastor Greg Laurie)…the Casting Crowns “Only Jesus” Getaway Giveaway (including trips to see them in concert, a complete CD catalog, and more)…and more. Joe Harnett, aka the Hardest Working Producer in Philadelphia Between 4pm-5pm, was able to utilize his sound bite collection, grading puns shared by Tim with everything from a polite golf clap (“I’m working on a device that will read minds. I’d love to hear your thoughts”) to a baby crying (“I just walked past a shop that was giving away dead batteries, free of charge”). We also feature an insightful clip by author Mike Berry (author of the new book Winning The Heart Of Your Child) regarding Chapter 13, “Potato Salad & Headstones” and gave away a copy of it too (congratulations to Curtis (Sewell, NJ))! Also winning was Melanie from Chestnut Hill who called in & won a gift card to Dunkin Donuts courtesy of Bryner Chevrolet in Jenkintown, PA.
