Former Red Dead Redemption 2 developer James Rackliffe, along with former Microsoft executive Sajid Farooq and other AAA game veterans, have founded a new game studio called ILHAM. This studio is focused on producing games that explore Middle Eastern and Indian Subcontinental cultures. Their first game is an AA open-world survival title aimed at pushing the limits of both the genre and player experiences. The game promises a compelling narrative along with complex and fulfilling gameplay mechanics, offering a fresh cultural perspective that is rarely seen in current games. ILHAM's goal is to create a survival title that not only provides depth but also challenges experienced gamers, similar to highly-praised survival games like The Last of Us and Resident Evil 7, but with a unique cultural twist.
