Dennis Richardson, former spy chief appointed by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to examine intelligence and law enforcement roles in the Bondi Royal Commission following a terror attack, has resigned after three months. Richardson stated he was 'way overpaid' and 'surplus to requirements' as his reason for departure. The Prime Minister had previously described Richardson as the best person in the country for the role.
