Phew, that was bitter. The whole of Barcelona still feels like they’re nursing a hangover after their FC’s Champions League out. A 4-0 hiding in Liverpool after a 3-0 win at home. What a comeback for the “Reds” in the semi-finals. Congratulations! Fortunately, the Catalans can now distract themselves with an exciting Formula 1 weekend. And we should be warned that even clear favourites can quickly be pushed to the side-lines.

In Daimler’s online magazine, we want to talk about the people behind this company. Our focus is on three points: Firstly, we want to deal with topics that are relevant for society, relevant in terms of technology or relevant in terms of our strategy. Secondly, we want to show the many faces that Daimler is made of. And thirdly, we want to explain what this company does – and why it does so. You could even go as far and say: If our website with its daily news is something like a Daimler newspaper – then the Daimler Magazine is our weekend supplement.
