Un film tecnicamente impeccabile ma narrativamente sfuggente. “The Master” di Paul Thomas Anderson è un’opera che divide: visivamente straordinario, girato in 65mm con una fotografia mozzafiato e interpretazioni magistrali di Joaquin Phoenix e Philip Seymour Hoffman, ma con una trama che sembra dissolversi tra le mani.
