There is a lot of conflicting information about dietary supplements. Not only what you should be taking but whether you should be taking anything at all. Dr. Tieraona Low Dog has done us the service of demystifying these questions. Dr. Low Dog is the director of the fellowship program for Andrew Weil’s Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. She was appointed by President Clinton to the White House Commission on Alternative Medicine and has served on the advisory board for the National Institutes of Health center for Alternative Medicine. Before attending medical school Dr. Low Dog was a respected herbalist with training in midwifery. And she is here today to talk about her new book, from National Geographic: Fortify Your Life: Your Guide to Vitamins, Minerals and More.
