Christina Gavrilova aka Forty Cats is one of the few Russian female artists whose tracks have garnered impressive support on the world stage. The first big success arrived soon after the release of the "Fluency Rate" track on the well-recognized Ukrainian progressive artist 8Kays' label; the track has collected over 720,000 streams on Spotify alone since then. But the real breakthrough in Christina's musical career came in August 2019 when her debut EP "Highway" was launched on This Never Happened, Lane 8's personal label. It was followed by the official Forty Cats remix of one of the tracks from Lane 8's album, and soon after — another 3-track EP "Elastic Sun" at the end of 2020.

2021 became the most productive year for Forty Cats, marking a new creative milestone for the artist: making appearances on the top labels in the melodic and progressive house genres. Over the past year, her releases have been released on labels such as Sudbeat (Hernan Cattaneo's imprint)б Mango Alley, Manual Music, Meanwhile, Kindisch (Get Physical sublabel), Monstercat Silk and more.
