The book of Joshua records the end of an era and the start of a new one. With the death of Moses that led them through the desert and Joshua the “promised land leader” the people of God are called to continue to trust their God and remain faithful to the covenant. As the year changes and new seasons arise, we are called to continue to trust the unfailing character of the God that loves and wants us to live under his promises.  The book of Joshua records the end of an era and the start of a new one.
