The grief that I have been experiencing from the sudden end of a placement has moved me to compassion for the bio families. Will you join me in this space for a moment? Put yourself in the shoes of a mama who has just lost her children to the foster system, or a mama who is willingly yet sorrowfully placing her child through adoption. Let that move you to compassion and love for this member of the triad that so often is judged and condemned, or worse, forgotten.
