Earlier this week Gordon spoke to a member of our community Rowan about his involvement as a foster carer, discussing the process that is involved when becoming a career, the support available to him by Anglicare and the good times they have had with their foster child.

JOY sponsor, Anglicare Victoria is the state’s largest provider of foster care. During foster care week from 13-19 September, Anglicare is encouraging the LBGTIQ community to visit their website to find out how easy it is to become a foster carer. Carers come from all walks of life and can be working or home, older or younger or with or without kids. Emergency, respite and longer term placements are available plus carers receive full training and ongoing support.
