The greatest gift that God gave to man was the incarnation. God the Son took on human flesh to redeem us and adopt us! However, this gift did not come without a hint. For 4,000 years God had been providing types, portents and direct prophecies regarding the coming of Christ. In the same manner, there are many indicators referring to the second coming of Christ. The first coming of Christ was came in the fulness of time both chronologically and typologically. In the same manner regarding His second coming Jesus stated, "Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only" (Matthew 24:34-36).
