God's plan for Christ to come into the world was not a mystery. He had planned it before the foundations of the world were laid. During the past two months we have seen the diety and manhood of the coming Messiah; we have seen that He would be the redeemer who would be the sacrifice for our sin and our passover lamb, and who would offer Himself as a sacrifice as a priest in the order of Melchizedek. Last week, we considered Christ as our Passover, by examining YHWH's deliverance of Israel from Egypt.
