The Resurrection of Christ is both a matter of fact and a matter of faith. Jesus Christ revealed Himself to well over 500 people after He was resurrected from the dead. In any court of law, that testimony would surely stand. However, when it comes to the resurrection of Christ, many are still skeptical. The Scriptures state as well though that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is a matter of faith. As Jesus stated to Thomas, "... because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." Faith in the resurrection of Christ is integral to salvation. As Paul stated, "if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." The resurrection of Jesus Christ did not just deliver from death and the penalty of sin, it delivered us from the power of sin as well. In Christ, we have new life.
