Within the declaration of Christ at His ascension He gave both a positive and negative command. First, He told His disciples NOT to worry about the timing that His physical kingdom would be established. As He had told them earlier, no man knows the day or the hour. Secondly, He told them that they would be witnesses of His resurrection after they had been empowered with the presence of the Holy Spirit. After Christ ascended into heaven, the angels made a declaration to the disciples that provides us with a divine testimony regarding the manner of the return of Christ, He would return the same way that He departed. Hence, since Christ had ascended in the clouds, we are told that He will one day descend in the clouds. How we yearn for that day! ... This message was presented on November 20, 2011 by Bob Corbin.
