When Jesus was asked by the Phariees when the Kingdom of God would come, He responded "The kingdom of God does not come with observation; ... For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." Though the Jewish people were looking for the Physical Reign of the Messiah (which will occur during His millennial reign), Jesus told the people that the Kingdom of God was already present. The Scriptures tell us that when an individual accepts Jesus Christ as their savior they become the temple of God. Jesus stated that they (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) would make their home with the believer (John 14:17,23). The evidence of God residing in your heart would be fruit that is consistent with a God-controlled heart. But Jesus stated, "why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do the things which I say?"
