Today, pastor Ed is preaching from 3 John 5-8. People cannot see your heart, but they can see your life. Walk, live out, day by day, the gospel truth that is in you by virtue of your union with Christ. Abide in Christ and bear much fruit (cf. John 15). John commends Gaius, “Dear friend, you are showing faithfulness.” His faithful service stands in striking contrast to the inhospitable Diotrephes, whom we will meet in verses 9-10.
