Roughly a month ago, when we were first discussing how we wanted to cover the Apple TV+ show, Foundation, on this podcast, never in a million years did we think we would be comparing it to Russia's current invasion of Ukraine. But sadly this is where we are and there are a surprising number of parallels that we can see in both the TV show and the book and what's currently happening in Russia and Ukraine. For anyone who is a fan of science fiction as well as a student of international relations and political science, then Isaac Asimov should be required reading for you.
