The parable of the wise and foolish builders serves as the conclusion to the Sermon on the Mount, and it is both an encouragement and a warning. Those who hear and obey the words of Jesus will survive the storm of eschatological judgment; those who ignore His words will not. A spiritually healthy household puts the words of Jesus into practice.
