Chapter 4 is perhaps the most read and preached on part of the book of Revelation. In part one of two episodes studying the chapter, I read through other Old Testament passages that the chapter draws from in order to lay a foundation for next weeks more in depth study into John's vision of God's throneroom and courtroom.
