We are still discussing the third phase (within the four successive phases) every believer goes through when building their firm foundation upon Jesus. In this third stage, we continue to explore what it truly means to acknowledge Jesus by following Him.

Many Christians know Who Jesus is. Many believe in Him. But acknowledging Him goes beyond belief—it means trusting Him enough to follow Him.

Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

To acknowledge Jesus is to follow Him in all your ways. It means trusting His plan above your own, agreeing with His Word above your circumstances, and surrendering your future to His leadership.

In Episode 22, we talked about the call to follow Jesus. In this episode, we go deeper and ask an important question: Do you trust Him enough to follow Him completely?

Many people fear that fully following Jesus will cause them to miss out on something. But the truth is that God’s plans are always better than our own. Following Him isn’t about losing your life—it’s about finding the life He created you to live.

• Why nobody can believe God for you—you must personally trust Him as Savior, Healer, Provider, and Lord.

Hebrews 4:2 says,

“For unto us was the Gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.”

The Word of God is powerful — but it only produces results when it’s mixed with faith. 🌿

You can hear the Word every Sunday, every week, every day…

but it won’t profit you until you believe it, receive it, and mix your faith with it.

When you put faith behind what you hear, the Word becomes alive in you — producing fruit, power, and change. 🙌

If we want Jesus Christ to be the true foundation of our lives, we have to hear His voice — the living, anointed words that come straight from God.

It’s not enough to hear about Him — we must hear from Him.

When the Word is preached and taught with anointing, it carries life, power, and faith that takes root in your spirit.

Faith comes by hearing… and hearing by the living utterances of God.

In 1 Corinthians 14:10 (ASV), the Holy Spirit speaks through Paul, saying:

Every voice in this world—whether spoken aloud or just a thought in your mind—carries meaning. These voices shape how we think and believe, for better or for worse. The enemy wants to use these voices—of doubt, confusion, speculation—to subtly influence the mind and heart of every Christ follower.

His goal? To have us build our foundation in Christ on hearsay—speculation, conjecture, un-Scriptural reasoning, surmising, un-Godly notions and impressions, faithless presumptions. A foundation built on these things might look fine for a while, but as we start to build our lives upon it, the cracks begin to show—and by then, it can be too late.
