As extraordinary as Moses’ life was he was not a self-made person. On the contrary, his life was almost defined by his dependence on others. And, ultimately, by his dependence on God. Like Moses, the more we trust in the God of Redemption, the more we're called to put to death the "Self-Made" myth. (Today's reading is from Exodus 3:1-14)
