Last week’s text considered what will become of those who died in Christ when He returns. Today’s text considers how we who are alive in Christ ought to live in light of His return. Simply put, we should always be prepared. Ready and waiting. Awake and sober. Christ’s return may be unpredictable, but for the faithful in Christ, it should not be unexpected.
