Foundations of Wellness: Supporting Optimal Health

How are you defining wellness and optimal health? What are your practices and how are you going to incorporate those to support your foundation so you can live an optimal, healthy, vibrant and empowered life?

For most of us this is not a one time activity. I use the word practices intentionally because in many cases it means supporting or enhancing what we're already doing. And it may mean learning new practices that support our foundation that allow us to live our optimal lives. 

For those that have a chronic illness, such as myself, are you wondering if we can still benefit from supporting foundations and wellness? My answer is YES! 

Allowing use to merge this traditional wisdom of medicine and then paring it with the current evidence based approaches that scientists are confirming - allows us to enhance our own lives. 

I come to this perspective from a nutrition, nourishment point of view. And today on the show, we will look at other practices that could benefit us as well.
