Psalm 16 is a song of trusting in God and delighting/celebrating in his people. The Psalmist sees God as his refuge, his security, his identity, his wisdom and his perfect and lasting inheritance. Through these lyrics we hear how he worships God with gladness and rejoicing as he reflects on who God is and what God has done.
In today’s episode I share Four Practices of true worshipers found here in Psalm 16. This is certainly not an exhaustive list, but these are practices that have challenged and inspired me. 1) True worshipers trust in God as their strength. 2) True worshipers long for their eternal home. 3) True worshipers seek wisdom from the Father. 4) True worshipers worship with gladness and rejoicing.
