Hello Film Fans, I just saw Foxcatcher, a 2014 sports drama centering around the freestyle wrestling champs Mark And Dave Schultz and their tumultuous relationship with their socially awkward coach, John Dupont, played in a brilliant and haunting fashion by Steve Carell. As a story, Foxcatcher is a drama centering around family, mentorship, as well as the dangers of idol worship and how it can essentially damage a person to the point where they are left to wallow in the shadow of the person they look up. I wish to explore and discuss these very concepts as a way of further enticing those listening into seeing what is a break from the standard family sports drama. I hope you all enjoy this episode of the [odcast, and as a wise man once said, "I'll see you at the movies."
