In this month's meeting were hear about the propositions that will be on the November 2024 ballot:
Prop V: Removing fines & fee cap for vacant and deteriorated properties from the charter
Prop B: Changing how the city creates its yearly budget by giving the Board of Aldermen a more equal share of influence over it
Prop S: Short Term Rental Tax: The owner of a property being used as a short-term rental would pay a 3% fee. All of the money raised would go to affordable housing programs, including construction of new units.
