Homily from the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. Jesus has been gaining a lot of followers over the past few weeks, which is good. Now he stops everything and makes everyone aware of what they are committing to when they profess to be his disciples. We, too, need to make sure we're aware of what we're committing to when we profess to be his disciples.
