Homily from the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Lord speaks through Jeremiah that the house of Jacob should rejoice, for he will bring them back from exile. How will he do it? He'll fulfill his covenant with David that one from his line will sit on the throne forever. Jesus, the Son of David, has come to bring God's people back. He sits on the throne as the King of the Universe
