Homily from the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Lord's last words in the Old Testament promise rays coming from the sun of justice, which will bring healing. Then Jesus comes, the Temple who was destroyed for our sins, and out from his pierced Heart flow rays of mercy. Powerful. Let's allow these rays to reach into our own hearts, especially in the Sacrament of Confession.
