Some people live legendary lives, but far more often than not the legend doesn't live up to its billing. Sometimes the legend turns out to be completely wrong, and sometimes the legend doesn't even approach the reality of a person's greatness.

It's far too easy in today's world to merely know the legend of Jesus without knowing Jesus. Those who have encountered Jesus will certainly say the legend pales in comparison to the Savior.
