Mariano Crispino is a sociologist and a musician; for some years experienced in music "interventions from below" taking part as a musician in many different "projects of collective music " and "impromptu groups". For several years he has been pursuing researches on the influences of the artistic avant-garde in our daily lives.

The path of the musical studies started very soon, with the principles of music theory and harmony already during the primary school . A little later experienced the "taking part in a band" and a constant playing live. His sound research is based on the belief that the musical underground and "active minorities" will be the carriers of new meanings and will play an important role to define the "shared meanings" in contemporary society.

His musical style can be defined as eclectic and is never bothered by the sounds, which alternately take on different timbres. Since 1992, when he decided to come out from the garage where he dreamed his very first projects, he is active with a decent music production that embraces a mixing of jazz-fusion, rock and electronic.
