Previously on Fractured Fables…
The party fell through space, time, and apparently several questionable decisions before landing in a room Charlie had seen before.
Waiting for them was a beautiful stranger with some very bad news: Liam never asked Everett for anything. The deal was killing him.
So naturally, Everett made another deal.
Back at Charlie's childhood home, the secrets kept piling up. A recipe labeled Charlie led the party to an herb tin, which led them straight into the basement.
Inside?
A summoning circle.
A locked book.
And several very bad feelings.
While Siddy, Ami, and Everett went digging for answers, Charlie found a disturbing drawing that raised one very important question:
Why does the scary thing look like Everett?

Ami and Charlie finally woke from their temporary frozen state, only to find Siddy attempting to comfort a very distraught Everett.
Everett confessed her worries about Liam, and Charlie reluctantly admitted that she’d noticed something was off with him too.
Naturally, the party’s solution was to call Athena.
The result? An awkward voicemail.
A call to Liam was answered instead by a very impatient Athena, who promised to call back once she knew what was going on.
So, with answers nowhere in sight, the party turned their attention to something a little closer to home — Charlie’s childhood house.
Unfortunately, the house had other plans.
A coat came to life. And then they met a very strange little girl.
She looked exactly like Charlie. She was seven years old.
And she definitely wasn’t a ghost.
The party quickly dubbed her - Little Charlie.
After some investigation, and a very unexpected piggyback ride, Little Charlie handed Siddy a key. Because apparently that’s normal.
And when life became a little too much for Everett, she decided it was time for a break and swapped over to Jack.
Then, finally, Athena called back.
Her message was simple: If they wanted to save Liam, they needed to come. Now.

The trio makes it to the bottom of the stairs, where the Filanders’ ritual chamber holds more questions than answers. They collect strange leaves, encounter ghosts of memories past, and then hear the words no adventurer ever wants to hear: “Time’s run out. It’s awoken.”
A glitchy creature emerges, along with another Everett. Because apparently Everett wasn’t having enough problems with Everett.
The fight gets strange, the room gets stranger, and the weeny-dog dagger reveals it has a few new tricks up its sleeve.
With the glitchy creature and Everett 2.0 finally defeated, the party discovers a stone and one final note: “If you have found this, then our sanctuary survived. Which means we were right. But if you are standing here, then something has gone wrong.”
Returning to PiPi and Athena only raises more questions. PiPi drops a few suspicious hints about who he really is, while Athena proves that apparently being cryptic and being catty are not mutually exclusive.
Meanwhile, Ami and Charlie are still frozen.
Desperate for answers, Everett reaches out to Liam.
Liam answers.
Sort of.
The message comes with pain.
Because in this world, even asking for help has consequences.

Charlie and Ami are frozen in time, the rest of the party scrambling to figure out what happened. Their search leads them straight into PiPi Salva and Athena, who have a mission—and apparently, no shortage of cryptic answers.
With a new objective and a new companion named Leo, the party heads to the Filanders’ old sanctuary.
What starts as a quiet hallway quickly becomes a nightmare when Everett summons Grim to be the scout.
Siddy, understandably, assumes everything is a trap.
She is not entirely wrong.
The party discovers notes, a strange model of the world, and eventually a hidden trapdoor leading beneath the Filanders’ home. Down below, they uncover journals, a ritual site, and evidence that the Filanders were preparing for something far bigger than anyone realized.
Then they find a path down, an almost neverending path, then things get weird.

Things had gone very, very sideways in Silas's office.
Realizing that a conversation with Ami's stepfather and acting mayor was quickly becoming a problem, the party—well, most of the party—decided it was time for a hasty escape.
Charlie, still determined to say something, opened her mouth...And Siddy cast Silence over the entire room.
Unfortunately, the best-laid plans rarely survive contact with the party. Silas took the sudden silence as a very reasonable indication that the magic users in his office were about to do something terrible and made a break for the door to call the guards.
Realizing things had somehow gone from bad to much worse, the party dropped the spell and scrambled out of the mayor’s office.
Their next destination? Charlie’s childhood home. A place no one in the party even knew existed.
But everyone knows secrets are what make friendships strong. Right?
On the journey, Charlie reached out to Athena for advice—and, naturally, a few questions. What followed was an awkward conversation filled with Athena's usual hot-and-cold attitude, leaving the party confused and Everett with even more questions about why Athena seems to have such a particular problem with her.
Eventually, the awkwardness came to an end. And the party arrived at their destination: a quaint cottage. Quiet. Normal. Sitting peacefully on the edge of the woods.
Charlie’s childhood home.
Now all that's left to discover is what exactly is waiting for them inside.

With the Blood Mage's threat becoming increasingly personal, the party made a plan: they were going to investigate the blood magic.
Before they could leave, PiPi Salva offered Ami a deal. Whatever he wanted, whatever he was offering, Ami said no. For now.
So the party made their way to Silas's office. They expected questions. They did not expect to be the ones bringing the answers.
Ami told Silas the truth: she was the reason Olivia was possessed by the Blood Mage. Something Silas had no idea about.
And then came the second revelation: Windeer was dead.
Only there was a problem – the party shouldn't have known. Because Windeer hadn't been dead for days, she had died that morning.
The party had somehow learned about a death that hadn't happened yet. Or at least, hadn't happened when anyone else could possibly have known about it.
Suddenly, the conversation with Silas became considerably more complicated.
And with the mayor's office no longer feeling particularly welcoming, the party had one very simple goal - get out.
Before Silas could have them all arrested.
Because apparently, investigating blood magic wasn't enough trouble for one day.

After a morning of strange dreams, troubling letters, and uncomfortable revelations, the party finally reconvened at the Magic Shop.
Ami returned from her attempt to find a gift for Astrid, while Charlie continued to struggle with the lingering voice of her mother—and everything she had seen while lost in the sea of time.
Ami finally told the others about Olivia's letters. The letters that weren't entirely from Olivia anymore. The Blood Mage had found the body they were looking for, and whatever had taken hold of Olivia was becoming harder to ignore.
Charlie shared her own revelations.
She told the party about finding herself in the past, seeing her mother, and finally learning more about what happened the day Volty died.
For once, there was no immediate monster to fight. No mysterious dungeon to explore. Just the party, trying to figure out what to do next.
They talked. They planned.
And, most importantly, they reminded Charlie that she didn't have to deal with everything alone.
It might have been a quiet moment of comfort... If the Blood Mage hadn't decided to interrupt.
A singing telegram arrived. Cheerful music. A cheerful voice.
And a message that was anything but cheerful: Windeer is dead. The Blood Mage had made good on their promise.
And they wanted the party to know.

A long rest doesn't always mean a restful night.
Charlie was plagued by dreams of her mother, waking with what felt like more questions than answers. Hearing a hushed conversation downstairs, she found a very timid Astrid and a very annoyed Professor Shortsen.
Astrid explained that the kitchen had been repaired, though Dick had decided he wasn't quite ready to return to work after almost being eaten. She quickly made her escape.
Professor Shortsen was less patient.
He didn't have time for questions, but he did have a list of items he needed from the Bastion of Saint Vey. And with that, Charlie was left alone in the Magic Shop.
Everett, meanwhile, had a much more peaceful night's sleep.
She woke to freshly baked cookies, and a note asking her to dinner.
After a brief moment of happiness, she asked Styx to check on Jack, who was still lost after their encounter with the mirrors.
Siddy woke up feeling a little more comfortable in her newly expanded bedroom and managed to have a brief—but much-needed—conversation with Granny Tia.
Then she set out to find a small gift to show her appreciation for everything Liam had done for the party.
Ami's morning was considerably more adorable.
Holey had been successfully trained, and at this point was far more mastiff than mimic. With a strict feeding schedule in place, Ami could finally relax knowing Holey was unlikely to eat a kitchen horse.
On her way out, she collected her mail: A book for book club. And letters from Olivia.
Only this time, the letters weren't entirely from Olivia.
While the party had been away, the Blood Mage had found the body they had been searching for.
And whatever was living inside Olivia had made sure her sister knew it.

The party found themselves packed into an elevator with Tittus and, for some reason, Poppy Cox. Charlie’s favorite dancer.
No one had time to question it.
Morty burst into the elevator, knocking Ami and Siddy to the floor as he screamed the news: Charlie had fallen through space and time.
Everett, forced to postpone a long-overdue reunion with her old employer, reached out to Liam for help. He had no idea where Charlie had ended up, but falling through the sea of time wasn't exactly a common occurrence.
After a conversation about cookies, a promise to meet at Liam's new office—not PiPi Salva's—and a whole lot of trust, Everett left Charlie in Liam's hands and returned with the others to 32B.
Charlie, meanwhile, was trapped in the past.
A memory of the Magic Shop, with Volty still working the register, led Charlie into a conversation with her mother, Victoria.
And then came the horrifying realization: Charlie finally learned what happened the day Volty died.
Before Liam could pull her from the past, Victoria reminded Charlie of everything she seemed determined to ignore about the group.
Every mistake. Every secret. Every reason not to trust them.
And little by little, Victoria began planting seeds of doubt in Charlie's mind.
Back in 32B, Charlie was finally reunited with the party. But Liam looked considerably worse for wear. He quietly asked Charlie not to tell the others anything before disappearing just as the door opened.
Time, after all, is a fickle thing for those who know how to wield it.
With the party reunited and decidedly worse for wear, PiPi Salva asked for only one thing from the backpack before sending them home for a long night's rest.
Nothing bad can happen while we're sleeping.
Right?

The party quickly learned the Inquisitor had no interest in conversation. His only goal was clear: stop magic users at any cost.
As the battle raged, Siddy appealed to his sense of righteousness, while Everett tried to convince him they shared a common goal: preventing magic from destroying the world.
Neither worked.
With the Inquisitor armed with a seemingly endless supply of anti-magic relics, Charlie searched for another way out. And then she realized the truth: The Inquisitor was trapped in a time loop.
The party didn’t need to defeat him. They just needed to walk away. And so they did.
They found a conveniently placed backpack beside an elevator, where Tittus was waiting to escort them back to Office 32b.
But Charlie, apparently incapable of leaving well enough alone, reached for the map.
She missed.
And suddenly, Charlie began falling through time.
Can the party pull her back?
Or is Charlie lost somewhere in the past, present, or future… forever?
