The party's search for an injured Astrid brings them back to the magic shop, where they're met by a furious Athena. Any doubt about where her loyalties lie is quickly put to rest. Astrid's safety comes before everything else.

With tensions running high, Athena decides there's only one cure: a night out at Charlie's favorite club, The One Trick Pony. Between dazzling performances, incredible food, and a chance to finally breathe, the party settles in.

Charlie found Morty in a memory of the night he died, the two had a conversation about their relationship, the truths and the lies that have been told. After Morty let Charlie know he wasn't going anywhere just yet, he is cursed after all. Back at the magic shop the party did what all parties do when things get rough, get drunk.

A night of drinking leads to the first real conversation Everett and Charlie have had with one another, a discussion of how changelings work, and the promise to be honest with each other.

A promise neither of them will break, right?

With Ami out cold, Everett and Charlie getting ready to call it a night, and a Siddy still missing in action, the party isn't ready for Astrid to return with a mimic and enough necrotic damage that Siddy might not be able to heal her.

The party returned to Office 32b expecting to find PiPi Salva, but instead discovered the office had a new occupant: Liam Hudson.

The long-awaited confrontation between Liam and Charlie finally boiled over, forcing old frustrations into the open. After reminding the party that the forces they're dealing with are far beyond anything they truly understand, Liam extended an unexpected invitation to Everett: take a day away from it all.

The conversation gave the party something they hadn't had in a while, a chance to be honest. Apologies were shared, feelings were aired, and for perhaps the first time in a long while, everyone came together in a genuine group hug.

Naturally, that's when Holey the mimic chose to vomit an entire body onto the floor.

Everett made the difficult choice to return to the party and arrived just in time to join a fight. After discovering firsthand just how devastating an anti-magic grenade can be, the party somehow managed to survive the battle and keep Ami's newest employees alive. Victory secured, they did what any respectable adventurers would do: loot absolutely everything.

Their celebration was short-lived when a mysterious and beautiful Drow woman appeared, revealing that Lolth herself has taken an interest in the party and is watching their every move.

With no obvious path forward, a familiar elevator suddenly opened its doors, along with an even more familiar operator. The party has escaped the horrors of the Underdark...

Trying to sneak past a battle between fallen Drow and desperate bandits, the party was discovered before they could slip away unnoticed. Deciding the bandits had better odds with them than against them, they charged into the fray.

But not before things took a turn.

Morty, disappointed in Charlie's choices, vanished without another word. Ami flew into a rage, Siddy scrambled to keep everyone alive, Charlie called forth the spirit of a samurai to fight at her side, and Everett accidentally inhaled a generous helping of moonstone dust, leaving her blissfully drunk in the middle of a battlefield.

In a Moonstone covered city dedicated to a Drow Goddess the party knows nothing about, they were able to learn about Moonstone and its anti magic properties. Something that might come in handy preparing for possible fights with multiple powerful wizards…being able to throw an anti-magic grenade might be just what the party needs.

With all the loot gathered they could hope for, the party made a choice no one expected and decided to sneak past a fight with some bandits and what appears to be fallen Drow.

The only problem is both the combatants and Morty noticed what they were doing.

The party interrogated Rick O'Shea, a bandit foreman who was way more terrified of his boss than he was of them. After giving up everything he knew, Rick left his fate in the party's hands.

While the others walked away, Everett stayed behind to make the hard choice. Morty lingered too, offering ghostly moral support that Everett couldn't see and despite his best efforts at spectral scribbling, she never noticed.

With that grim business settled, the party pushed onward, heaving open a massive set of doors to reveal something none of them expected: an entire abandoned Drow city dedicated to Eilistraee, filled with artwork celebrating Drow freedom, and moonstone, a mysterious substance that doubles as both a powerful intoxicant and an anti-magic field.

Now standing in a city long abandoned but scarred by signs of battle, the party has only one path left: forward.
