There have been military drill halls, in the market town of Guisborough since the early 1800's and this episode explores the history and the modern reality that I experienced as a so called Cold War Warrior. I joined the Territorial Army in 1977, serving with 1st Battalion Yorkshire Volunteers, as a Junior NCO with 6 Platoon, B (Green Howards) Company it the drill hall on Park Lane, Guisborough.
