This week, the Kristina shares her son, Franklin's story! She shares a little about her pregnancy, Frankie's HLHS diagnosis, and their time in the hospital. She also shares a bit about her grief journey.

Franklin and August are Kristina's twin boys that were born on June 10, 2023. Franklin had a diagnosis of a single ventricle heart defect and passed away at UCLA Medical Center on June 30, 2023.

Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome is a congenital heart defect where the left side of the heart doesn't develop. The cause of HLHS is unknown.
