In this episode we discussed the story and disappearance of Gabby Petito. The prime suspect is her fiancé, Brian Laundrie. Petito move from Bluepoint, Long Island to Florida in 2019 to Iive with Laundrie. The two embarked into a cross country trip on July 2, 2021. Petito was reported missing by her family on September 11, 2021, after Laundrie got back to Florida without her. A body who is believed to be Petito was found on September 19, 2021 at Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. According to Fox News, the FBI confirmed the remains belonged to the 22-year-old Petito, shortly after this podcast was recorded. In this episode we took a look at California Governor Gavin Newsom being in the hot seat. Should Governor Newsom be recall? Many Californians will decide that today by voting in the recall election. Many people are not happy with Governor Newsom because of the way he handle the pandemic among other things. If he does get recalled, a replacement will be selective from the ballot list by Californians. There's a possibility this might happen since it has happened before. Governor Davis was recalled in October 2003 and replaced by Schwarenegger in November 2003. We then took a look at how easy it is to run for California governor. 

In this episode we discussed if friends/ family need an invite to show up to your house or can they show up unannounced. Some people may find you showing up unannounced rude and disrespectful. While others will open their doors and welcome you in. We then took a look at if friends/ family need to respect your privacy once inside your house.

In this episode we discussed Khole Kardashian getting slammed on TikTok for body shaming people. In the clip she says "I can't stand people that are like eating a bucket of like Haagen- Dazs ice cream and like "Im so fat" and like they won't workout." Many people took it offensive because Khole is known to have gotten cosmetic surgery done to enhance her body. Other people are defending her and saying to stick to the message not the messenger. We then took a look at reasons why people follow celebrities and why they shouldn't. 

In this episode we discussed the decision of OnlyFans to reverse its decision on banning sexually explicit content on their platform. OnlyFans announced last week that starting October 1, 2021 all sexually explicit content will be ban. OnlyFans blamed the ban on banks saying they have made it difficult to pay content creators. OnlyFans reversed their decision days later and said they will continue to provide a platform for all creators. Many content creators have a sense of relief for now. We then took a look at why being associated with the porn industry could be a bad thing. 

In this episode we discussed the current situation going on in Afghanistan. The United States has started pulling out its military troops after 20 years of fighting a costly war. The Taliban has seized power in Afghanistan two weeks before the United States were set two complete its troops withdrawal. On September 11, 2001, the United States invaded Afghanistan to dismantle al-Quaeda and deny safe operations by removing the Taliban from power. We then discussed the different reasons why people run towards danger instead of away from it. 

In this episode we discussed the incident in Tulsa, Oklahoma where a 12 year old girl gave birth to a 24 year old man's child. The man, Juan Miranda-Jara admitted to being the father of the child to the authorities. He was arrested on suspicion of first degree rape of a minor. The mother of the 12 year old girl, Desiree Castaneda and other family members are accused of knowing about the romantic relationship between the the man and her daughter. Castaneda was also arrested on suspicion of child neglect and enabling child sex abuse. We then discussed possible ways to prevent teen pregnancy. 

In this episode we discussed if Covid vaccines should be mandatory or not. The Department of Veteran Affairs has moved to require all of its health workers get a Covid vaccine by September. President Biden said a plan to mandate all federal employees to be vaccinated is under construction right now. We also discussed what other things should be mandatory by law. 

In this episode we discussed the different type of double standards that exist today. Some double standards are completely unfair and should not exist. We also took a look at the double standards that made it to the top of our list. 

In this episode we discussed how long should you wait until you start your next relationship. Some people don't take much time between relationships therefore not allowing themselves to heal. According to a 2018 Washington Post article, therapist and author Chamin Ajjan says, "Dating with the goal of finding a new partner when you have unresolved feelings is selfish." We also took a look at how long you should wait to bring your new partner around your family and friends.
