René started out as a glass collector in a discotheque in a discotheque in Altenburg, but it wasn't long before he was drawn to the DJ booth to learn the trade of a light jockey/technician. On the days when there were no events, he tried out the turntables with his ever-growing record collection.

The first gigs in front of an audience in the discotheque were not long in coming. But bookings in regional clubs soon followed, including well-known names such as. AchterMai & Brixton-Chemnitz, Milchbar-Leipzig, Cult-Neukirchen, Wuitz-Mumsdorf, Alte Wollspinnerei-Altenburg, Nachtcafé-Leipzig and many more.

With the foundation of his own artist & event agency Gou!ash-Music in 2015 and the resulting house & techno label Gou!ash-Records, the ball really started rolling: The first single, appearances at festivals and clubs all over Germany and from 2018 onwards, the first international bookings and gigs followed, e.g. in Dubai, Prague, Mallorca, Austria and Switzerland.
