  • Child identity theft is on the rise. Make sure you educate your children on ways to stay safe when browsing and using the Internet. 
  • Freeze credit for you and your children by contacting the credit bureaus and requesting it. This will keep identity thieves from being able to use any personal information.
  • Scammers try different ways to get your information. They use emails, phone calls and even text messages. Don't click links or open attachments from unexpected emails and don't give personal information over the phone.
