This is a narrative that has been done to death but something tells me that a slasher twist, ironically enough, will revive the idea of it. There's a shortage of horror comedies that are actually good out here, so I appreciate when new ones test the waters and can nail the idea. While this can be it's own take on Freaky Friday, it's actually a spin off of Happy Death Day, and helmed by the same director. Let's hope he can balance out the horror and humor once again.
