Fred de Jong believes there was no way Andreas Heraf was going to remain at New Zealand Football.
Heraf has resigned from his roles as Football Ferns coach and NZF technical director, with a review into the organisation's culture still ongoing.
de Jong, a former high performance director at NZ Football, believes Heraf jumped, before he was pushed.
"The thought being that there's going to be a fair amount of negativity in those findings, so he would have been down the road at that point anyway."
