The Tea Teacher Podcast and I collaborated on a joint interview with the legendary Jazz artist, Freda Payne, who is well known for hit "Band of Gold". She released a memoir on her life with Mark Bego titled "Band of Gold" expanding on her upbringing in Detroit getting her start in the music business working with Jazz Greats such as Pearl Bailey, Dinah Washington, and Duke Ellington to name a few. Today, she is selling out crowds in her live concerts, released new music called "Let There Be Love" featuring Johnny Mathis, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Kenny Lattimore, etc. Such an honor to be asked to Co-Host with The Tea Teacher and for Freda to do this with us.
